Claudia Arroyo holds a BS in Fashion Design from International Academy of Design & Technology in Chicago. She is currently studying a master’s in marketing at DePaul University.
Claudia was a small business owner of a boutique in the west side suburbs of Chicago for over seven years. ClaSha was a one of a kind handmade gifts and clothing boutique where eighty percent of the products were designed and made by Claudia. Today ClaSha is on Etsy under the name of Artsy Gifts by CArroyo. Claudia uses this platform to sell her handmade gifts that she makes on her ME time.
Claudia is currently working on a children’s clothing line under the residency of the Chicago Fashion Incubator at Macy’s on State. Claudia has a strong background in Sales and as a small business owner she learned to do her own website and marketing strategies.
Claudia is also currently the Fifth District Delegate of the Lombard Service League, a non-profit charity service group to the Lombard area, the state of Illinois, and projects of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.
Claudia's future plan is to teach at university level once she has learned and acquired the corporate skills that eventually she will share in her classroom. She strongly believes that the best teacher is the one that had lived and experienced what he or she is about to teach.
