Fashion Designer, Entrepreneur and Marketer, Claudia Arroyo is a woman of many talents. She is highly skilled in sales, web design, social media content, pattern making, sewing garments, crocheting.
Throughout the last decade, Claudia has been a tireless entrepreneur. She co-operated a handmade gifts boutique, ClaSha, in the west suburbs of Chicago for over seven years. In 2019, she chose to pivot her business from a brick-and-mortar location to online sales while continuing her education. The products (handmade by Claudia) are now sold on Etsy under the name of Artsy Gifts by CArroyo. As a current designer-in-residence at the Chicago Fashion Incubator at Macy’s on State, Claudia is developing a luxury children’s clothing brand aimed at special occasions named VeViLe.
As a Marketer, Claudia has been in charge of Lombard Service League social media platforms and website. She has used her skills as a web designer to create her own website and the one for Lombard Service League www.lombardserviceleague.org
Claudia holds a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from International Academy of Design & Technology in Chicago and is currently finishing her Master’s degree in Marketing at DePaul University. Eventually, she plans to teach at a university level once she has learned and acquired the corporate skills that eventually she will share in her classroom. She strongly believes that the best teacher is the one with extensive experience in his or her subject matter.
Claudia is also currently the President of the Lombard Service League, a non-profit charity service group to the Lombard area, the state of Illinois, and projects of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.
